Empowerment and empowerment is a technical or management tool that consists of delegate, grant or convey power, authority, autonomy and responsibility to employees or teams of an enterprise so that they can make decisions, solve problems or tasks without having to consult or obtain the approval of his superiors.

Through the application of the empowerment, workers or work teams have greater decision-making powers, greater authority to solve the problems, greater autonomy in the performance of their duties, and greater responsibility for the execution of the tasks, goals and outcomes.

While managers, heads or superiors, rather than dedicate himself exclusively to direct and control, leave that workers or teams implemented their ideas or methods, guide, motivate, stimulate, recognize the successes and reward results.

The main objective of the empowerment is to seek to distribute adequate levels of power, authority, autonomy and responsibility throughout the Organization and, thus, strengthen all the members, increasing their effort and dedication, and at the same time, taking advantage to maximize their knowledge, skills and capabilities.
